in fairness ive not changed my mind at all.
Since i began posting i have said the squad had stagnated and mick was responsible for that despite his great work in the early years. Nobody can dispute now.
And i didnt want us to turn into a farce by sacking managers all over the place.......not many would argue that to be wrong either would they?
8 games for Saunders.
0 wins
on track to make TC look like a diamond.
Bit unfair to knock Saunders, he's tried something different.
Improved us with his subs
Full Time
Wolves 1 - 2 Cardiff
in truth i dont blame saunders at all pundit.
He has identified the problems......you do have to wonder what morgans plan is though, by not backing him in january.
For me it was just a huge error to sack Stale when we did, he should have been given the time to do it his way.
We'll pick up points sooner rather than later if our players play like they did in the second half.
We've not strung a good 90mins together since Bristol City.
"Doomed Captain Mainwaring, we're doomed !"
Don't you secretly wish you were a Baggie ?
WM caller 1 Mike:
Disgusted. Nothing has changed since Tuesday. Saunders is tactically clueless. Batth has been the one glimmer of hope and he took him off and kept Johnson on. We can't produce two halves of football. Listening o Saunders is like listening to David Brent
There is a certain similarity.
It became apparent as soon as he was appointed.
Funny comment tho.
I am sorry for saying it did not matter who was manager be we would not be relegated this season with our squad. I now feel like it does not matter who is manager we are going to be relegated with this squad! We are going down faster the Danielle Lloyd at a Spurs Xmas Party!
WM caller 2 Tonka:
As bad as I've seen all season. Baffled why Saunders changed the defence which was looking ok. No creativity, we have to take our chances. Saunders is experimenting to find a winning formula but he's clutching at straws.
2nd in the league up next for you guys.
WM caller 3 Ryan:
Worst half of football in a long time. Saunders completely out of his depth. Second half was better but the damage was done. Where was the bounce affect when a new manager comes in?
Amazing how the clueless blame the manager again. When are fans going to wake up and realise that the last three managers have had a terrible squad of players to work with and no funds from the board
Who was in charge then Pundit?
IF we manage to stay up, we have to throw whatever it takes at GUS POYET.
Cinci, if we stay up then Saunders will have saved us.
We need to get rid of the players before another manager. When will we learn?
Gus Poyet?
Wake up, take a look at who you are.
I dont like to sack managers Pundit to be honest.
And i do not blame saunders much either, but i really do not think he is the guy to push us toward promotion either.
I think Gus Poyet is a very safe bet, he will be a prem manager sooner rather than later, and despite the mess we are in, we are still a well regarded club with potential for a bright future.
You are not seen in that light at all, cinci.
You are seen as a club without a clue. Any decent manager will be staying well away.
This is the reality you are going to have to deal with.
