Rafa managed to take a 2nd place team into 7th. Great management...

This is also the same guy that wanted to sell Xabi Alonso to get in Gareth Barry.

Rafa arguably has the worst transfer record in managerial history. So many flops.

"City really do have the most overrated team I've ever seen. The usual "they have the best squad" line is nonsense. The spine of that team verges on garbage. The midfield is the definition of average"

"The only thing about Rodwell you need to worry about is his stopping the game by pulling a hamstring. It's a garbage midfield and Kolo Toure isn't up to scratch anymore either."

"Get Mikel to do a job on Toure, shadow him, keep compact, then I think your team is quite simply better."

Kagwa you are a bitter fool! City were the better team in almost every department, Rodwell, Kolo and YaYa all had a great game. We outplayed the European Champions and beat them 2-0 proving that you know nothing about football and your comments are simply pure bitterness.

man city had 2 shots on target 2nd half, lethal.

Now that is interesting. Can I ask where exactly City are positioned in the league? Goodbye.

So hafijur

City were the better team, are you man enough to take off your red spectacles and admit that or are you too bitter like kagwa?

Furthermore, the abomination of a side that the managerial clown that is Rafa Benitez essentially gifted the game to City.

The City midfield, taken into consideration the amount of money spent, is distinctly average. Pretending otherwise would be folly.

City have some huge flaws and a squad that lacks variety and depth.

chelsea had good possession but were shocking. Man city were way better in first half and slightly better 2nd half.

Man city defended very well and chelsea were trying to attack man city but couldn't get through.

Kagwa

Is that all you've got what about addressing your earlier points that were completely wrong rather than making even more childish comments. OK Your lot are top, what does that have to do with a Man City V Chelsea match thread you sad individual?

A spine consisting of Hart, Kompany, Toure, Silva and Aguero can not ever be considered verging on garbage.

This site is going downhill so fast. I cannot understand why anyone would want to join a multi team forum with the intention of just having a go at any other team apart from their own. Why not just join a one team only one?

Are you ill?

I've just addressed them. The City central midfield is average, Toure aside. Been proven so this season. Just because Chelsea got it wrong doesn't escape from the obvious flaws.

Had Chelsea has somebody in midfield that could keep the ball and made an attempt to attack more directly we could have seen a different game.

I have repeated all season that the depth of the City squad is overrated and I think the midfield and wing areas lack in both quality and versatility. I didn't say Jack Rodwell can't have a good game. But, I stand by that he is an injury prone, average to decent midfielder that isn't required for a club with aspirations such as City. Ditto Garcia.

I don't know why I've just wasted my time as you appear to be about 10.

What a muppet!

Thanks hafijur, so you admit City were the better team over the whole game then

Kagwa stop embarrassing yourself by changing direction every other post. You started off by stating Chelsea would have a stroll in the park because City's midfield were so bad, particularly Rodwell, Garcia and Toure and also Kolo was poor. The aforementioned players all had a good games today and blew you out of the water so now you have switched to claiming Chelsea and Benitez gifted the game to City?
Oh dear time for you to leave i think, in fact didn't you say goodbye already?

personal insults do not disguise the fact that you got it all wrong in your earlier posts then tried to blame Chelsea and their manager for "gifting" the game to City, grow up.

========================================
Sounds like poor Rafa has been let down by those chelsea players again.
Whilst at Liverpool, he spent 220 million on players, brought in 160 million in transfers, brought in £120,000,000 in revenue to the club, due to his success in the champions league, etc.
60,000,000 net spend over 4 years or so.
I imagine quite a few have squandered much more, and brought in much less than poor old Rafa did.

I thought Chelsea would win today if they had played their tactics right. They didn't.

A central spine of Kolo, Nastasic - who I do rate - Garcia and Rodwell is average. Coat it however you like, but it is.

I got nothing wrong other than my prediction of the result. My opinions in regards to the players have been proven throughout the season. Unless there's another reason you're 12 points behind and out of Europe? Or is that all down to the manager? Who?

I haven't insulted anyone Phoenix, just questioning your age and mental capacity. You communicate like a downer.

bluephoenix according to the stats you had 2 shots on target 2nd half compared to 4 in 1st half. I think chelsea had 1 shot on target each half.

Last thing is yes man city over 90mins were the better team, even though you scored 2 goals in 2nd half I don't think there ws much in terms of chances between chelsea and man city 2nd half.

Can't believe ramires messed up his footing on break then30secobds later yaya toure scored.

"Rafa arguably has the worst transfer record in managerial history. So many flops."

That is almost completely incorrect. Based on the cost of their squad, Benitez actually overachieved at Liverpool. The worst is either Bobby Robson or Kenny Dalgleish at Newcastle.

Hafijur,

That is because you deem a shot on target to be solely that and never take in to account the quality of the chance. The stats that you use do not tell the story o how a game actually goes.

FFS United fans take over every thread even a Chelsea match thread

posted on 24/2/13

Kagwa why is a rag on the Man City V Chelsea match thread making bitter comments about City's team anyway? Why is it that rags fans cannot simply be satisfied with having a good season without having to infest other teams boards with their childish gloating, and bitter comments? I have never posted on your board but if i did it would hopefully be something more intelligent than you seem to be able to come up with Then to have the hypocrisy to ask if i am 10?

I haven't got a bunch of stats and net expenditures on me whislt I type into my phone. I'm going off my memory, as to which Benitez must have signed about 70 players, a lot of them quite cheap, and the vast majority left the club quite suddenly or 'flopped'

Josemi, Degen, Krompkamp are just a few I remember. This tells me that the manager has a very, very poor record and does not possess much expertise in the buying of players. I'm aware they use scouts, but they still need to be ok'd from the top.

I just seen your comment above, actually. The spine you mention is a great one. But that wasn't the central spine I was referring to today, because that spine didn't play like that today. I will stand by that I believe the overall quality and depth of City squad, normally used to denigrate United's, is hugely overrated.
