In all honesty I hope Mancini stays, I think if someone like Mourinho came in you'd be even more of a force

City would be daft to get rid of Mancini.

So, I hope they do.

I don't watch United games to be honest so cannot comment on what they sing, but City fans EVERY game sing for Mancini, do United have a Fergie song (we have, but thats completely different!!)

Fergie doesn't need a song Bolton, he has a stand and a statue I wouldn't say Mancini is bad, but with the players they have, a better manager would have dominated the PL for a few years, instead of scraping one, and seemingly collapsing this year.

On another note - after 2 weeks out due to computer maintenance that went wrong. Very wrong

I have been there,

trying to be clever and completely messed up.

I wasn't trying to be clever Koma. I was cleaning it, and it blew up. Not even just like the PSU blew. It exploded and knocked some walls through and the ceiling rose 3 inches.

Are you sure it's a computer and not a bomb?

Pretty sure Mark. Cleaned it with compressed air in my room. Turned the power on, next thing I know I'm screaming, running down the stairs and jumping in the shower. 2 walls went through and the window, frame and all, is outside in the garden.

3 Days in hospital with arms burnt and a bit on my face then another 10 days off work. Can't go back for 3 months now, and no internet in the temporary housing so my only 606 fix is at work

I don't think they would have done, first or second is around par for the course for me. Noone wins the title every year and if you compare the expenses of the squads of the top six, then either first or second can be judged as an ok season. Any less than that, then I think he would be in trouble.

For me, we have slightly underachieved this year. However, I blame Marwood for that at least as much as Mancini. Couple that with United considerably overachieving (on course to break the PL record), then I don't think second is really that bad at all.

The next couple of months may well change my viewpoint though!

Don't worry mate, you're not the only one. Everyone laughed. Well, not my dad who's house I blew up, but everyone else. Evil heartless gets

I can't work out what you actually did to make it do that, Jay!

You're not the only one. Never heard of anyone else ever blowing themselves up with a computer after cleaning it. Just pressed on, and boom. Far as I can tell, it's a combination of a spark from the PSU, combined with more oxygen from the compressed air, and the dust kicked up. Million to 1 shot.

Considering the damage to the house though, I escaped with relatively minor injuries.

Not saying Fergie needs a song, my point is the fans are behind Mancini as you lot are behind your Manager, we have questioned him this season as I remember some of your fans questioned Fergie, we are all fickle and think we know best!!

dont worry, fergies got a song & gives us a wave every game.

It is looking likely that City will finish 2nd this season. Will a factor to Mancini's success be how close he is? or will the view that 2nd is 2nd be taken?

Not saying he should, or shouldn't go, but how long do you think he'd be given if he doesn't win a trophy next season, or the one after? I'm just trying to figure out roughly what the expectations of him are. You're right, we are a massively fickle bunch on the whole.

Mancini will still be here next season and we still may finish the season with a major trophy.

Finishing second and with or without a trophy should be enough for Mancini to keep his job. The owners don't to be of the same thinking as Roman, thankfully.

Only one team can win the league and if that's United that'd because they have been better than us.

posted on 25/2/13

To be honest I believe if he doesn't deliver the Prem next year and improve in the Champions Leage then his job will come under scrutiny, anyway we haven't lost it this season yet!!

posted on 25/2/13

Well last season's title win has at least bought him some time, imagine if aguero had'nt netted that 3rd, he would, imo, be under immense pressure now.

It's difficult Jay as the club tend to take the policy of never replying to press stories. From my own perspective, a lot of the damage for this season was done in the summer. I do firmly believe that 10 minutes of football has shaped our season though, the last five minutes in the Bernebau and the last five in the derby.

I do have my doubts about Mancini in terms if his man management and some of his starting tactics in games. Having said that, I am a big fan of his tactical changes during games though.

Ultimately, it will depend on what the owner thinks he can do in terms of Europe and actually who out there might be available. Mourinho has hardly had a good year and he needed 100 million at inter before he got further in the CL than Mancini did. I'm not sure there are many other managers out there that would be that significant an upgrade.

If he does stay though, they had to listen to who he wants in the transfer window.

Finally, and you guys have just touched on this, but if you look at the facts, we are talkin here about a manager that has won the FA cup and premier league in the last two seasons and is currently seven points clear in second place of a United team on course to break the premier league record for points who have one of the best managers that ever lived and strengthened their team from last year with one of the best goalscorers in the world.

In that context, it is pretty daft that his position is been considered!

According to reports we were two years ahead of the plans where the owners wanted to be when winning last season.

The disappointments this season from the owners will not be the league form but the CL form.
