Not fickle, applauding the correct outcome after being annoyed at what they saw as being an unfair decision, same as every fan from every team round the world would have done
Now some of the English fans will connect this incident to BCCI's refusal for the UDRS.
RedIdian, India are so desperate in this game that they have started cheating..
Every single person at the ground is a better human being than Red Indian!
Red Indian. Go back to bed you loser.
India are getting thrashed in this series
Yeah 1-0
What a thrashing!!!
Now jog on!
let's get this straight !
1. india didn't cheat
2.bell was stupid not to check with the umpire that the over had ended.
3. the fans at trent bridge booed because they thought the decision was wrong but cheered when they realised ms dhoni had changed the appeal.
4. england cricket fans fickle, dream on
Oh dear, it's has all gone wrong.
England bowled out for 221, India supporters mocked England (despite the fact India are yet to reach 300 in an innings this tour)
110-2. India thought they deserved it all, but at 288 all out, most realised they'd come unstuck - bless Redindian for still saying how great they were.
But now, 350 behind, (and still 4 wickets left), they are looking down the barrel.
No doubt Redindian will have something to say (or someone to blame).

Oh dear oh dear Hounslow you are a bit of a thicky aren't you?
1) The POINT is that what Inida did was against the SPIRIT of the game. No they didn't cheat. They just twisted the situation to their advantage. Fair enuff for you?
2)Bell was not stupid, just a bit naive. He GENUINELY thought the over WAS over. Kumar just passed the ball back - he wasn't looking for a run out. I think Kumar thought the ball had gone for 4. ALSO, the umpire was handing back the bowlers jumper if you watch the replays like he TOO thought the over WAS over.
3) Yes, they booed when they thought Dhoni was going to uphold the letter of the law. They cheered when he did NOT. Where the heck are you going with this?
4) Fickle how? Come up with some better arguments than this nonsense or GET OFF ENGLANDS CASE.

crazy 4 cric- india have started cheated- in my opinion the never
bell has played enough games at the top level,so to think he is naive is stupid.
i was sticking up for the england fans as i am one and the reply dream on to the article of england fans being fickle should have given you a clue
i hope this has cleared it up for you
OK hounslow though that did kinda confuse me yeah!!
Bell wasn't stupid he just genuinely thought that the over WAS over. He seemed to think the Umpire had said 'Over', he had seen the Umpire hand the bowler back his sweater and he GENUINELY thought the ball had gone for Four. Naive yes stupid - very harsh
drbantam, glad i cleared that up,how anyone can say england fans are fickle is beyond me as they travel the world and support the lads in huge numbers
good luck
Well, if Bell was naive in thinking that it was tea, so were India's fielders - the majority of whom started walking in the general direction of the dressing room about the same direction that Bell did.
Anyway, whether it was legal or not, fair or not or in the spirit of the game or not, Rahul Dravid summed it up. Even before Strauss and co popped their heads around the door, Dravid said that he and many of the Indian players were 'uneasy' about the dismissal.
It's over now anyway.
RedIndian, are you the bloke from dailyfun4u who didn't know what fickle meant?

Are you trying to explain the game.
This is normal and it happens in any sport you take.
You take football of what happened in Champions league final 2005. Many people left their seats in half time.
1. india didn't cheat
2.bell was stupid not to check with the umpire that the over had ended.

I don't know whether bell was an idiot or english fans fickle. People out here are being so plastic that they call us a cheat just for appealing.
So the players who are running near the ropes and thriving themselves to stop a run are fools. I would really be very angry to the team players if they would not have even bothered to apeal for the cause irrespective of what happened afterwards.
You remember an incident in 2009 when we toured AUS, symonds was run out, but was given not out even by 3rd(TV) umpire and similar incidents happened few more times during the tour, i was really plaughed by the team behaviour, i don't know how they managed to behave in such cicumstances.
The current indian team are the bunch of same players who travelled AUS.
Now they are being called a cheat by few people on the board, who deserve enough to be called so.
Bloody ell you know India are struggling when redindian is posting an article about England fans being fickle - haha how funny
