Attacking midfield is a very special position that you just can't experiment with.

... and so is the defensive midfield role as we all know for too long now.

What is this bs people are spouting about us being better without Jack? We need him in the team, he's been our best player and he generally starts all our attacks, he glides past players for fun, can't believe people say 'he shouldn't walk back in' of course he should, he's been our most influential player whenever he's played! You don't leave your best player on the bench!

Is it a coincidence that we have improved and looked better since he was injured !>?

If you ask me yes.

We haven't exactly been creating chance after chance every game, have we? Apart from Reading who are woeful. The difference between the last 4 games and the games before it is the defence. We always score goals no matter what, the problem is we always leak goals, too, hasn't been happening as much recently which is why we are picking up the points.

Wilshere is a quality player, just needs to be more decisive and take more risks rather than short passes all the time.

So many times he receives the ball, spins away from two players brilliantly, but then passes 5 yards sideways.

Think we've benefitted from the 10 day break we had, more than anything to do with Wilshere not being available.

Isnt it nice to have to chose between Jack or Tomas anyway. Its nice to have depths in the team

TBOK

Yeah I don't think the no.10 role suits him that well, but people have been saying we are playing better without him and we don't need him, it's absolute bollox. We win a few games without him and all of a sudden we don't need him in the first team anymore.

Yep, needed time to regroup and get our act together. Hope Spurs' 10 day break doesn't provide the same reaction for them.

..which is slightly worrying now Spurs have 9 days off.

Spurs are in a spiral of negativity which is difficult to get out of.

Spurs will go in the short break with a negative game. Well players can load their batteries again.

Arsenal's confidence is up, Spurs' confidence is down

Hope we can show that on Saturday, Pat.

When Villas-Boas made comments about us being in a negative mindset or whatever after the NLD, I knew it was going to bite him on the arsé. Stupid thing to say.

posted on 12/4/13

To be fair to Spurs they were hit by injuries which helped us too.

posted on 12/4/13

Yea, that tool AVB should have kept his mouth shut. I bet 2 seconds after he said he realised he shouldn't have. That is what Spurs do to you. They are always counting their cockerels before they've hatched.

We have had plenty of injuries over the last few weeks, it isn't an excuse.

posted on 12/4/13

Yeah Bats but not longterm injuries as we did have the season before.

How would you guys react to the news of Wenger leaving Arsenal? Lets face it, it's going to happen within the next year or so.
