Manchester City are becoming more self-sustainable, says their Chairman after posting losses of £23m
Does that figure include their fine? If so then they clearly are
So at this rate, they'll break even in about 5 years
Need to stop using the same old smilies <osama>
If only they had the profit trophy.
Man City announce record annual revenues of £347m, and a loss of £23m (including the £16m financial penalty following disputed FFP breach
So City have managed to overcome all FFP restrictions, suffer a loss and penalties, and still end up in a better position than Arsenal.
I hate chocolate.
But we tried to sign a DM in the summer so it's ok.
So Wenger and his rudeboys wanted to do things "the right way" and avoid all sorts of financial doping to comply with the future FFP rules. All the while Chelsea and City spent like cowboys in a whóre house, winning trophies and titles, left right and centre, and still managed to end up in a financial state more healthier, not to mention a superior squad, than Arsenals.
I am so glad I spent that £180 on tickets.
