Would Schneiderlin be considered as home grown? I expect one of Fernandinho or Fernando to leave
We have a good group of players at Arsenal and its about to keep the right balance and keep the players motivated at the same time. Its not to buy players of all costs.
United's season showed that it is not all about to buy so called world class players.
Healthy challenge in all positions in the team is what wins you titles.

Suppose so, but don't quote me on that
DONE DEAL: Hoffenheim have officially completed the signing of Fabian Schär from FC Basel on a four-year contract.
He was linked to Arsenal in the past

165K a week for Milner Not sure if that is a good deal.

Tough to stay. He's a £10m player easily so take that off (as they got him for free) and it looks better

Arteta, Rosicky both staying
As I expected really. No overhaul from Wenger, won't spend more than £30-40m net
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends on the potential outgoing transfers as well, if we manage to sell e.g. Poldi and Campbell and for how much.
AWs faith in the players he has and the reluctance to shuffle things up is slowing fown the team's development. We could be so much better if only he was more decisive to let a few players go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe. I agree with him on some counts though that if you buy 4/5 players it's tough to bed them in and get going quickly.
Absolutely sure we won't sign more than 2/3 senior players this summer, 3 absolute tops
Gerrard leaving and Milner in. Have Liverpool really improved by signing Milner or just stood still?
Standing still is better than slipping
On that wage...how much space is there to buy other players for Liverpool? They need some new players in. Skrtel blamed already his new offer from Liverpool to sign a new contract.
Milner is class. Would improve any team he goes to.
Gerrard is sh/t.
"On that wage...how much space is there to buy other players for Liverpool?"
Think you read it wrong. Man City offered him 165k p/w but he turned it down (apparantly)
Is it me or has Chris had a crush on Milner?!
Do you think he is playing for much less at Liverpool? It maybe not 165K but surely more than Özil gets at Arsenal.
We were never interested in Milner.
There is only one way direction to City.
Just to put the Milner deal in context. He's 29, £150k week for say 4 years = £31.2 million, £3-4 million signing on fee. Approx 35m. Value?
Probably on about 150k yeah.
Free transfers always get more.
Think we were paying Chamakh 90k.
