Though I am not sure why you are against upgrading the goal keeper position. Wenger obviously bought Ospina as no.2. Chesney was demoted and I don't see any point in keeping a player who keeps on losing confidence. Cech is a definite upgrade on Ospina.

GK and striker/forward are the two position that need upgrade. Anything after that is welcome but not necessary.

From where do you get that Chesney was demoted?

Ospina was brought in to fight for the no 1 place in our goal. And he finally got it after injuries and Chesney played not on his level.

Our priorities should be defensively.

Cech to United is my guess

Spurs won't sell Lloris.

I think we need an upgrade on Coq as well. I would love Kondogbia. And then we can use Coq in a two when we want to shut up shop or as a backup.

Thats how it works. Chesney was starter. Lost confidence, the Southampton game was last straw and dropped. Thats what demoted means.

Wenger usually keeps them around in the background till they disappear from consciousness and are sent on loan or sold. Just like what he did to Pod and numerous others before him.
