Don't really like many of our ex-players for the manager role. Maybe DB10 or Keown

I have to say. Zidane's success at Madrid kind of shows that sometimes a newbie works.

Can't judge him on this few games in that league

See how he gets on in Europe and el classico before you judge

I'm not sure we can do better than Wenger currently tbh.

Never going to know until we try. It was telling that after being criticised for subbing Giroud, Wenger said it was because we needed players who could cover the pitch quickly. So he finally acknowledged the problem with the slow spine after almost blowing the best chance he is going to have of winning the league. And Wenger is being shown up by an Italian with half the talent and a tenth of the money that Wenger has at his disposal. Don't see how Wenger keeps his job if we fail to win the league this season.

Shown up by Ranieiri?

And you don't think what he said about needing to cover the pitch had anything to do with having 10 men?

Real Madrid a unique situation tbh, Zizou just tells his £400m squad to go out and do their best

And Ronaldo always destroys Espanyol

Roberto Martinez would have got the same result

It had everything to do with it CEG. But it doesn't change the fact we can't transition from defence for exactly the same reason with 11 men. We have to play with a slow build up (often confused with tiki taka - but its not the barca tiki taka who move the ball back to front with amazing speed) to push up as a team. Which is very unfortunate for Mertesacker. And as a result the opposition have more time to setup in defence which makes it very hard for us to break down. Ranieri is pretty much playing a brand of direct counter attack that we used to play, and be very successful at, years ago.

Why? Been saying for a while we absolutely must get Pep

Crouch not happy yet another AKB leaves his camp.

Only him, RGK, Tiki and Godfather left

I wouldn't be able to pin our style of play to one board this season

We've tended to adapt to the opposition when required

Tiki and RGK don't count

And Godfather and myself aren't sad enough to get involved in the AKB/WOB nonce-sense that goes around on the net. We just honest and positive match-attending fans

Claude loves Wenger

I wish it was true CEG, but we have been very one dimensional, long ball to Giroud. We were playing counter attack with Theo/Alexis/Ozil but that pretty much went to wayside when all the injuries happened and we didn't have a fast mobile striker leading the line.

Man City stopped playing for their manager. Chelsea stopped playing for their manager. Man Utd didn't ever play for their manager. We should be walking the league.

So injuries to players who are now fit meant we changed our style but you don't think we will change back?
