Mental illness obviously a real thing

But these days any slight behaviour or feeling out of the ordinary is classed as mental illness

I think treating it as a massive thing just excerbates it as well.

My cousin has a kid who is a right weirdo, wears these big noise defeaning ear muffs everywhere because she "gets overwhelmed"

But somehow they diagnosed this when she was about 2 and been treating it since, and it's only got worse

Kids in africa having to drink from muddy water that animals wash in, but yeah focus on people being a bit depressed

No, just gets a bit overwhelmed out in the open so she wears these headphones to calm her down and they always tell her to close her eyes for 5 minutes when she does. Gets homeschooled too, going to be an utter mentalist
