We needed to start the season well with new signings bedded in given the absentees from the Euros
We needed a new defender so that Kos wasn't rushed back
But yeah, some panic buys after dropping 5 points already

You can only praise the Lucas signing if Wenger commits to the change of style. We look like Arsenal used to before we sold RVP even with Alexis leading the line. But we did last season as well when Theo was playing striker. All that was scrapped very quickly to accommodate Giroud even after 8 wins out of 9. We do that again we will be back to one paced slow play of last 3 seasons.

Giroud comes first, even if it means losing the title.
