I didn't see the game on saturday but maybe it's because the players are getting use to the new way of playing

Some reporter on talksport on the radio atm saying mourinho briefing against rooney after watford. lots of papers getting the info.

José will have been told, like every other Man Utd/England manager than Rooney is bigger than the club/national team.
Constantly playing Rooney all over the pitch while losing SENDS A MESSAGE to the board. José
I suppose thats the difference in confidence between Mourinho and Pep. Pep just kicked out Hart. Mourinho is making the grounds just to 'rest' rooney.
