The only player in our line up who looks like a better player in this 3-4-3 is Monreal. Left side of a back 3 suits him more than centre back or left back in a 4. Although he's fine as back up to Kolasinac at left back in a 4.

You could argue that it works more for Mustafi too because when he goes flying in, he's at least got 2 covering centre backs behind him.

Yep yep, i'd fully agree with that. And Kolasinac looks the most comfortable in his role. Everyone of the other outfield players look kinda lost at their role and position. Right up to Lacazette who still has done fairly well all things considered.

So many issues with this current set of players with this formation. You almost have to credit Wenger for just being a point off top 4 with all these issues present. Almost.

Arsenal are awful.

Pep won't be give him a free pass like Wenger does.
