Do you watch a lot of Alex Jones J99?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was this 'Fear of globalisation' thing that made me think of it...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fear of the other stems from the same root cause.
The world is getting smaller. And economically it is flattening out.
It is easier to persuade gullible people to hate it and isolate themselves than to embrace it and succeed in it. The British have never feared that in the past. And thats why Brexiteers used the idea regaining control of their own destiny when they were actually very much into the world. Half the the world is based on the English bureaucratic systems. The Americans are a different story. They are known isolationists. Trump/Russia/Right wing in the US used the fear to send them backwards in literally everything.

Looks like I missed the one dece discussion a year
Was confident we can pull off a 2-1 win at the Wanda last Friday. But now i'm less confident, and now Wengy confirmed Ospineless is starting at goal.
Really unsure what to think about tonight, Sezzer. Atletico really weren't all that they're cracked up to be last week at the Emirates, but our away form is so weird. Rubbish in the league, not too shabby in Europe.
Really could go either way.

Laca had some decent chances even before they went down to 10 men. In fact i still believe the sending off hindered us. Madrid are well versed on the art of parking the bus anyway.
I said last week that i still prefer us to go chasing the game rather than defending a slender lead. We can't defend for toffee so our best call of action is to just say fack it and go for the attack. And we've got the players to hurt them.
But mate, our defending is atrocious. They will definitely score, and it won't come due to any hard work or clever play on their part. We just gift goals. The two banter lads at CB and the midget in goal.
Still fingers crossed for a 1-2 win.

" period of uncertainty "
So cute
There's no uncertainty me ol' mucker. Arsenal will attract big name managers and players, regardless of CL or not.
And we'll be worried about "those pesky neighbours" when they've achieved something more than "we beat Real Madrid"
And while you over 'ere.
"So why do YOU think the UK & US are currently governed by the 'right'?"
We've always had a Government leaning to the right. Blairs Labour was nothing more than smoothed out Tories.

Awww bless.............about to enter a period of uncertainty after the Prof buggers off to his bit on the side and you're more worried about those pesky neighbours who pay a pittance in wages compared to your underachieving under-no-pressure 6th placed shower

Nah, just reminiscing about the way we all were back in 2005-06.
Can't wait for you lot to catch up with us tbh.
