I was thinking along the same lines. Arteta was at Arsenal when Wenger was developing AMN for centre midfield. We are lacking in numbers in centre midfield and apart from Soumare,who didn't move and Guimaraes we weren't linked with any short term moves.

Agree on Mari. In Soares we finally get a back up for Bellerin. You may know that I talked a lot of it weeks ago. Think this is a smart move. Liked him at Soton. He is currently injured but should be back after the winter break (hopefully).
