Why, when there wasn't enough tests for front line health workers, were they able to test cats and tigers for COVID?

Think the main problem with the statDNA mediocre signings is the wages we gave them and how that hampered replacing them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Gazidis.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rosenfeld (head of statDNA) is Wenger's closest advisor. It was always Wenger's idea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was talking about wages and noone has said it was forced on him
And hands off my cat
Most of the research is coming from the states. Boris was suggesting now 3 ways of getting rid of covid. (1) vaccine, (2) therapeutics, (3) track and trace to zero local infections (S.Korean model). Will be interesting if they go back to reseach on pets if the 3rd approach becomes the preferred option for being the quickest.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sourcing PPE for colleagues ahead of eventual return to work, most office solutions suppliers also work with the NHS and everyone i ask "will my order effect supply for the NHS" they say that NHS shortage is political and not to do with funds or stock
Make of that what you will
Trouble is, there's so many thickos out there, rescues will be overrun if anything comes out linking it to pets - even if it's proven it can't be passed on to humans

Yep, same for us. The supplier we'll be using has had stock for a while, apparently, and has offered it to the NHS, but it's been declined.

What does that mean though? Most of the PPE comes from China and we have been very chummy with them. So do you mean before it started? No surprise there that Boris, May and Cameron have been neglecting NHS for years.

In fairness to the UK government, I've heard same stories from Belgian and Dutch news as well.
Still, it must hard to digest it if you are on the front line.
I've had that in the past with a company trying to supply equipment to the NHS. They have to go through a vigorous test process before they can go on the preferred supplier list. Which I assume just isn't possible at the moment. And they seem to procuring directly from manufacturers in China cause of the quantity needed for care homes.
Would be interesting to know what the supplier meant by a political motive though.
It is now confirmed. First and second Bundesliga resume the League under strict hygiene rules mid May. Season will end by the end of June.

First I prefer to give him a fair chance to show up.
Mkhitaryan's message to Arsenal, according to Corriere dello Sport.
“My time in London is over, I hope you manage to find an agreement with Rome because my desire is to stay.”
Not sure there will be many battling to keep him. Getting him off the wage bill will be a big relief.
Finally Pete is happy.
Merkel 'very pleased' by drop in infections
Angela Merkel has also said the latest figures from Germany's Robert Koch Institute, which has been reporting on confirmed cases and deaths, have been "very good news".
"The figures are still low [after lifting measures] so that's something I'm very pleased about," she said.
But restrictions will be put back in place if those infections rise again.
Hope for all of us.

Merkel was under massive pressure and not agreeing with the state ministers to ease restrictions according to some informed media. She isnt happy.
Merkel forced a rule. If an area with 100.000 citizien reporting more than 50 new infections a day the area goes into lockdown again.
