He seemed really unhappy post-match during midweek.

Everyone seemed to say ‘well of course he’s unhappy’ / so he should be, given our situation etc. But there seemed more to it than that to me tbh.

Hardly surprising these rumours are happening then given he missed the very next match.

Let’s be brutally honest though. I love Auba, but if some club offered us stupid money for him in January, I’d sell him.

For all the clowning on social media, Auba and Laca are both potential troublemakers and are definitely involved in the dressing room politics. Did the same stuff during the emery reign

Auba normally plays like a softy but his recent performances have been a disgrace where he has been pulling out of tackles etc.

Thought we would get more from Willian. I don't like him on the right where I think he is wasted but his overall performance has been garbage.

Second half against Everton where he came in MF a lot, he was a lot better. He is a better passer than most of the team.

Willian, Pepe and Auba have all been a joke

This run of bad form has really exposed Auba’s deficiencies as a player. Out left he contributes goals or nothing. Putting him centrally changes little. If he’s players creating for him, he gets goals. If not, he’s a passenger.

The only reason we missed him on Saturday was because Willian is just THAT awful. Apart from the great chance that Nketiah missed in the first half (which most likely wouldn’t have fallen to Auba anyway) I can’t recall a period of play where I thought we missed him.
