You're to blame for starting the "artitler" slander

Not really. Arteta got it right today. This is one of our most impressive performances under him, regardless of the Leicester injuries. Our 3 best players were on the bench and we just played in Greece and the narrative is all about poor old Leicester missing a few players

But nobody can justify the treatment of Martinelli

Arteta has found a way to trick fans into thinking our players are shiiiit and/or have attitude problems.

Just look what he did with AMN. Gradually took him out of the team and then just binned him completely. First it was “there are plenty of games he will get his chance”. The next step of denial was “he needs to work harder to get his chance”. And finally “he’s only played 23 minutes in our last 18 games but he’s clearly out of form and not good enough”

In all seriousness, I would've liked to have seen Gabi come in instead of auba. Gabi just isn't in arteta's plans right now, possibly still an injury risk. Which is fine because he's been largely shiiiit when he's played.

And artetas haters are tricking themselves into thinking the players he isn't using could be of any use right now

How has he been shiiit when he’s played? I mean he wasn’t great against United but he hasn’t been seen since. Just like I said, Arteta has managed to trick fans into thinking things that clearly haven’t happened

It is a legit question though on why Gabi isn't getting picked. Fair play, the questions on Willian will go away, but he's been awful this season, broke covid rules and didn't look bothered in games. But one meh game and he's back in the team while Gabi has just one half of football in two months.

Willian keeps getting chances. Throw enough shiiiit at the wall and it will eventually stick. This was his first good performance since the opening game of the season

If Willian plays like he did today he should be getting more game time.

He links very well with MF. Ball retention is excellent.

Meh, if we play like that every game we should be getting top 4. But we haven't been playing like that and we won't be playing like that all season

Also thought Odegaard looked very sharp when he came on

Yeh but ESR was looking good as well. He's out for a few weeks, at least

Just noticed Vardy has scored 1 goal in 12 games since Leicester’s pens dried up

Gabriel Mangalaheas is another case of concern. Was poor against Benfica and I think he will lose his place comepletely.
