Not contrarian. I would like to understand how they are at fault.

The problem lies squarely at the oligarchs/owners who overestimated the income that could be generated. It was always a house of cards. And now that its collapsing they are trying to desperately lash out with new ways of guaranteeing income.

Because UEFA have done zero to stop/ prevent clubs over spending and going into debt. they didnt give a fak as long as the money kept pouring in. now clubs are desperate and thats why this super league has come about. they let FFP die without a fight and did fak all to stop clubs getting bought over by greedy owners that want to strip them of their assets. how many dodgy as hell Man City sponsors have they overseen too? Again, fak all done to prevent it.

I thought the whole point in a governing body was to govern the clubs? So its partly their fault that so many clubs are in such a mess that they need this desperate super league to clear the books.

That is what I said yesterday.

The FFP rules are a farce and nobody cares. The UEFA were hit hard by the ESL story. They are under massive pressure and in meltdown and try to use the Football world to stand by them and to do business as usual.
