I'm Arteta out, but we had pretty much exactly the same end under Emery.
The club is rotten from top to bottom, Arteta has to take a lot of the blame but if we had any players with an ounce of character they'd step up in moments like this, but not one of them did.

No. you can't take things in isolation. Emery had a lot of players who were at the end of their careers but with big reputations.
Arteta did not have to deal with that. he was lucky that a lot of their contracts were coming to an end.
Arteta is not tactician. Arteta is not a coach. I don't know what Arteta does at the club. This is all him.

I dunno, personally no matter how bad a manager I've played under I will still always leave everything I've got on the pitch and take personal responsibility, as well as playing for personal pride.
I haven't seen any of that from our squad. Yes, Arteta should be motivating them better, but hell even in my boring 9-5 job I hate I try to do a good job for personal pride.
If our own players can't even muster that now and again, then they're an absolute joke

The players who are available werent up for it. Partey is atrocious. Bellerin woeful. Offers nothing going forward. Could mention more players. Saka awful. Pepe toothless

What do you do if your manager tells you not to attack? Thats how it looked in the first half. Both Keown and Freddie pretty much spelled it out.
I said it last season when we were all so euphoric after the FA Cup win. I will believe in Arteta when he shows me some style or identity. Arteta does not know how to attack. He is clueless.
