----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is why they are trying to buy Kane. Its not some thought experiment and not the usual. However how many times have you accused Auba, Eddie and Laca of being isolated? Its much more common for Arsenal.
btw they lost.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They have the same approach as Arsenal ...okay with much better players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City were creating chances but the lack of an out-n-out striker meant they weren't clinical.
We have strikers but we don't pass to them/don't create chances so we don't score.
City can sort it out by just getting a proper striker. Arsenal issue is far more underlaying. The system itself isn't working.

This is why I didn't understand why bellerin and kolasinac etc were getting minutes in pre-season.
they have no desire to be here and are desperate to go, yet we still play them...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We know a player wants to leave. We havent a plan how to get him sold. Bellerin especially needed serious competition for years now. We havent provided that and then he got a serious injury and never recovered from it.
Bellerin's situation sums perfectly up what we see over the last few years. We havent adressed the position we need to provide competition. We playing players long enough until they get a serious injury or he hasnt developed.
Bellerin is only one example.
We cried over Giroud to be replaced for not being good enough and static when we only had him upfront. Then we got a different kind of player in with Lacacette, later Auba for inflated prices and wages.
Next example is our left back position. How long we cried over that position until KT came in. We cried when the the guy was injured. We bought Cedric in a guy who came for free but injured. We never saw him play and gave him a 3 years contract.
We are such a reactive club that spend money but not wisely neither over requirements.
We should have sold him to PSG last Summer.
Tbh even if the only offers coming in for him are loans, we should still take that.
He's one of the worst right backs in the division, doesn't want to be here and is clearly not motivated.

Bellerin is desperate to leave Arsenal and is even prepared to take a pay cut to leave.
His camp have proposed multiple solutions to Edu but none have advanced yet.
One idea is a swap for Emerson Royal but nothing is advanced, same for Kieran Trippier.

Is Torreira missing because of quaratine? Torreira maybe a "crybaby" or simply not good enough, but Arteta's handling of players is just abysmal. We're paying Torreira free wages and at the very least he should be hauled back to London Colney and made to train with the squad. Arteta has again shown complete lack of man management. I am genuinely starting to despise the man.

He doesnt want to come back to England and would be prefer to find at least a club in Italy.

GT, of course i believe it. There were too many reliable reports from journalists and generally reliable news outlets for it to not be true.
The issue was that we overvalued Bellerin and PSG weren't willing to match it.
Like i said though. Even if a club offers loan for bellerin, we should still take it just to get him out of our hair for a year if nothing else.
He's genuinely awful and, now, we're not going to get much for him anyway.
Bellerin for all his problems is still better than Chambers.
