They’re both huge issues though.

Thing is, we all knew this about Auba before we signed him. He’s only escaped criticism because he scores lots of goals, smiles when the sun is shining and is portrayed as being ‘a fun guy’ at training by the club.

Only an idiot would choose to believe there’s not a flip side to him though. We know that isn’t the case. He’s shown us all this in the past.

It’s ‘coming out’ now because the club are probably tired of people not seeing the truth.

I mean you yourself refuse to see why the club captain being late for training at matches isn’t a problem, even when the ‘project’ for right or wrong is focussing on younger players.

Look at Auba’s influence over Guendouzi and wonder why the club want to put an end to it.
