It's the managers job to figure out how to get the best out of the players available.

It's also completely fair that the manager/management also aim to build a team in the image they want but you can't just write off every performance up until that stage.

Particularly when there's absolutely no evidence, proof, track record etc of the management having a workable end system. It's pure fantasy at this stage and there's little evidence it will ever come to fruition

Yes. And all it requires to defeat it is for the CBs and CMs to push up a few meters and be more compact. Klopp pretty much spelled it out which is why I posted it.

High press is not a new tactic. Leeds used to do this to us 20 years ago. Its no shock that Vieira gave Brighton a really good game and deserved to win.
