J99, 5 eps in and, I've got to admit, we're struggling with Billions.
All the characters seem utters and it's hard to care about any of them.
When does it get good?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suppose its a bit like house of lies, its easier to relate to when you have seen a bit of the world its portraying. Both characters are thoroughly unlikeable but Chuck is supposed to be the righteous one and axe, evil incarnate. Its their fight for 7 series now so if you don't pick a side its going to be hard watch.
Lyon on the verge of agreeing a pre-contract for Lacazette.

Moussa Dembele coming the other way in the summer along with Isak and David!
Pre contract would be annoying. Laca will throw in the towel for the rest of the season if so

He is free agent. A pre contract was always to be expected.
Arsenal are ‘expected’ to offer contract extensions to Bukayo Saka and manager Mikel Arteta in the summer, as per
@ChrisWheatley_
.-------------------
At least now they are waiting until the summer.

A lot of players leave it late though.
I think what young Christopher is alluding to is that if Laca has a strong second half to the season he may have more options, so it is worth him putting in 100%. However, if he has already signed a pre-contract he may as well chill.
Eddie Nketz will be on fire for the rest of the season though. Double figures for the season is almost certain for the modern day Andrew Cole.

Those are unwanted players. Plus, Lyon is his home town so there is that additional fact.

Sorry. Meant modern day Chris Kiwomya.
Its interesting that it is Lyon and not Atletico or Juve who were always hot for him. So maybe if Laca wants a decent last contract he will hold off and try harder. But Arteta does suck the energy out of attacking play so I suppose he may want security.

No all the footballers chase a final big pay cheque. He is a product of Lyon academy. Going back to where it all started could be a source of motivation.
Even if he had an offer from Athetico, I doubt he would have taken it over Lyon tbh.
Laca is only 30. But you maybe right that he'll prefer the one in hand over two in the bush!
Think Atletico's interest died about 4 years ago. Juve just kind of bought a striker. Dunno if you heard that? Some lad named Vlahovic?
If he has a solid 3 month now he'll get tons of offers. Not many strikers of his calibre go on a free
Juve like to collect oldies to sit on the bench. Similarly Atletico.

Thats a risk he may not take. We are hardly the attacking panacea of football.

Auba's rating at Arsenal?
7/10 for me.
Decent return of goals, especially in his first two full seasons, but never quite hit the highs I thought a player of his calibre might.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to take into account the playing style as well though. The chances have dried out no long after Emery took over and got probably worse under Arteta.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just watch the highlights of the Watford game this ssn at home. Guy was a mess.
