My concern with Arteta is that in the 5 or 6 windows he has had, the only attacking player he has purchased is Odegaard.

Then to get rid of Auba and not get a replacement is Jan was disgraceful.

Arteta just doesn't seem to place too much emphasis on the attack and I think we will probably be worse of in that department, come start of the season.

We need 2 strikers and a winger of high quality which means Arteta will have to spend majority of the budget on the attack.

I just feel he won't be comfortable in doing that

Up until January he had a squad with Auba, Laca, Eddie, Balogun, Martinelli, Smith Rowe, Saka, Pepe and half of them couldn't get a game.
The January window was the only one where we needed an attacker, and we bid for Vlahovic.

We have already signed an attacker this window as well

Yeah but Guendouzi thinks he's the don cos he's good for Marseille. Ronaldo didn't stop till it became hard to argue he's the goat, think some self awareness goes a long way

All I'm saying is i'd much rather have arrogant Gwen and his ultra competitiveness in midfield over nice lad like Elneny or the invisible/ frankly crap (so far) Sambi. but I guess thats Arteta's Arsenal these days. nice personality and conformity gets rewarded over actual talent

Think Gwen has hit his ceiling personally cos he's so into himself. Sambi been a bit hung out to dry the times he's been called on, but isn't a world apart from Gwen in terms of ability but will work hard to improve and wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the better player
