Look how hard it was to get rid of him. And now Marseille want Tavares of all people to replace him. As good as he was at the start, he was truly an awful signing.

Tavares was relatively cheap and low on wages. Risk limited.

The Vieira transfer came completely out of the blue. Literally no one knew it was happening until it was actually happening.

So why are you all assuming the players we’re ‘being linked to’ are the players we will actually sign?

I don't have much concern about Jesus as CF, more about Eddie as the only backup. I guess Martinelli can play there now and again though and would be beneficial to his long term development

How could anybody be happy playing 4 competitions with Jesus and Eddie as our CF options?

Also no natural replacement for Partey with those signings. We should already be looking for a long term successor for him, the guy is 29 and isn’t getting any fitter.

Those signings won't be enough.

Jesus and Eddie up front which means we will spend a whole season once again watching pointless crosses into the box from our full backs.
