The way England played yesterday, maybe he won't be in the WC for long

Saliba about 6th choice cb for France it seems. Jesus and Martinelli barely playing. Ramsdale and White not likely to play at all. Going pretty well for us tbf. Saka the main worry.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe Southgate will bend to right wing nutters and drop Saka for Foden. Will cost us the tournament if he does though.

The media building the pressure on Southgate. I expect Foden to begin the next game.
It would be Gashy for Saka, imo. Southgate hates Foden.
Why u care you Irish mess
Those without any agenda can see that Foden isn't going to keep possession under pressure. City have so many quality players to maintain possession in the final third for Foden to do his damage. Which is why Foden has done nothing at International level. Just like all that for Sancho.

🚨 Arsenal are set to win the race for Mykhaylo Mudryk, with insiders saying the framework of a deal is in place after Shakhtar significantly lowered their demands - close to £90m - it is now understood they are willing to accept around £40m plus potential add-ons. [Mirror] #afc

£40m is a risk worth taking!
Still prefer Gakpo though. Its asking a lot for Martinelli to be an instant success up front if Jesus gets injured.
Gakpo won’t be available in Jan though will he? Plus his fee has increased massively this past week

I wonder will this now lower than expected fee lower the player’s expectations of automatically becoming captain and guaranteed starter for every game to something more reasonable.

Its clear Mudryk still expects to be a starter from his own words. And a £40m fee is a lot for Arsenal. It does not mean that he will start if he stinks the place or is not ready for a more physical game.
The point is what does it say for Martinelli/ESR future out wide.
Which is why I still think he is a headache we can do without. I think we need a different profile player.

Why would Shakhtar suddenly lower their demands of this guy? They have all their cards on their side.
