GT - Could Per leave Arsenal?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why would he? Are there rumours?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"German FA 'could hire Arsenal academy boss Per Mertesacker as their new sporting director' after Oliver Bierhoff's exit... as they 'consider a root and branch reform' following dismal World Cup exit"

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Per Mertesacker isnt considered as Bierhoff's successor so far. They are after Sammer and Freddy Bobic.

Both resist so far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
English press using Arsenal to get clicks again then

So far Mertesacker isnt in the german media PP.

There isnt any successor there so this can change.

But honestly why would Mertesacker leave his job at the moment. At the moment he is doing a fantastic job and my impression is that he is happy.

Sky Germany was quoted. They arent reliable. In the public I dint heard Mertesacker's name.

I really can't see that happening. You may now that our acadamy for the national team lead by the technical director who is responsible with all stuff around the national team. It's a team manager position.

In my view Mertesacker isnt interested in that job at all as Hansi Flick stays our national manager.

*is interested

that's good news, let us hope

I'm surprised J99 hasn't caught on to this, he was thinking that since Edu got the new job, Per would be pushed out

Zinchenko isn’t in the matchday squad. He hasn’t been pictured in training in Dubai so far.

Apparently there is a penalty shoot out after each game to get more points
