There's some weird hate of Mbappe in Argentina, he apparently said something dismissive of South American teams so they think there bantering back

He didn't say anything bad but maybe they translated it poorly. This is what he said last May.

Also the argies don't really mix a lot with black people like the other S.American countries, I dunno... the ones I've met I find they look a little down on black people. It's not a country I would travel to.

No, Nigeria didn't have white slaves, there was a lot of black slaves that went to these countries.

Apparently there was a genocide and a lot moved to neighbouring countries like Brazil when the Europeans came over to Argentina.

There's a huge difference between celebrating the opponent missing a crucial penalty during the game when it is full of emotions and having a baby doll pictured more than 48 hours later during national celebrations.
But hey, if you think that the same, you should try to also have a look at the pictures of the Argentinians celebrating at the end of the shootout vs the Netherlands.

Always thought it was odd selecting Tomi at LB when Tierney was fit.

Why was it odd? Obviously Tierney has been practising/adapting watching how Zinch plays in training. Tomi is a very clever footballer and so is more flexiable. Its great if Tierney has adapted but I wouldn't take his performance in a friendly as proof positive.
