But... If he gets sent off he misses the Oxford game. So if he does get booked he should make sure he gets a second before the end 😂
Happy New Year fellas!
And what better way to start the year than being top of the league table
Happy New Year Gooners. Gutes neues Jahr.
Run out of words for excitement.
Hope Emile is fit for the Oxford game, be nice to see him back on the pitch. Also interested to see where he would play. Assuming the team would be along the lines of Turner, Cedric, Tomi, Rob, KT, Big Mo, Vieira, Sambi, Marqy, ESR and ???
I'd give Saliba a start as well. He look a rusty.
He need some WD-40 treatment before facing Spurs.
Expect Emile back for the Newcastle game to be honest. He won't start of course but could make the bench.
We have a really good team together.

Saliba needs to get his act together after the WC. As you said he looked rusty again.
How good he can be we all know. He is still a youngster and still learning his trade.
Not only Saliba. Xhaka looked very poor yesterday. I hope all his extra fitness is now not wearing off. Its a long season and he is 30+.
Transfer window now open so
Xhaka? Looked solid enough. Not spectacular but did his job.
Nah. In the first half he looked tired so wasn't able to do his usual press which allowed Brighton to get out on the break. I remember making the point in the thread that he seemed to be a little too high and expected Arteta to drop him deeper. Arteta did that at HT and that only invited Brighton on to us even more. Which is why we were wobbling a little even before the 4th. And even that didn't really settle the game after Arteta took off Partey. Elneny was not help at all to Xhaka.
Its understandable. I think the players are all looking forward to the FA Cup break. When we will hopefully have 2 incomings.
Okay. I thought especially in the first half our left side with Ziny, Xhaka and Martinelli caused them all kind of problems. In the second half he faded a bit especially after he lost Partey.
We only had 32% possession. That told you the story of the second half and even the latter bit of the 1st half. For a team built on possession that is poor. But we were very very clinical.
I don't think we'll win the league, but it is hilarious seeing rival fans absolutely lose their heads and panicking at the prospect of it happening .
Happy New Year everyone

Pretty much only Spurs fans, and mainly Sandy, tbf.
A lot of United, Liverpool fans want us to win it ahead of City.

Maybe on here, but on social media, especially YouTube and Twitter, Chelsea and United fans are going absolutely berserk at the prospect of it happening. I just find it hilarious that the thought of us winning a league is winding them up this much
If we beat Newcastle on Tuesday we go 10 points clear. Man City go to Chelsea on Thursday. Every chance they could drop points there.
I'm not relying on Chelsea to do us a favour. Then again, I didn't think Everton would either, so who knows?
Newcastle game should be a tight affair. Just realised they have only lost 1 game all season

So? Our home form has been great. We should beat them comfortably.
Can't wait to see how Castor turns Oxford into world beaters ahead of the cup game.
Happy ROADHOUSE DAY btw everybody
Unai has made Emi his #2
Spurs bench has 6 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders on it Castor will still say they have better depth than us though...
I feel really sorry for any Arsenal fan not enjoying this season. We haven't been in this position since the 2000s.
