It's not about buying just to buy, we need bodies in. I think it's worth getting someone in that's not totally ideal, yes. It's the best chance we've had in years to win the title.

We are already short in about 4 positions.

Arteta needed years to sort out this squad. So you suggest we should sign someone who isnt ideal just to fill the squad with mediocre?

Do you think Palace would let him go? He wouldnt fit in our new philosophy which would give a wrong signal to all of our players. He is now 30 years old and not consistent.
