This is hilarious
Troy Deeney on MoTD2 saying all 3 goals Arsenal scored were down to mistakes from Utd. Conveniently forgetting to mention both of their goals were gifts from us.
Bitter little man.
Mudryk 20 mins against a midtable team? No end product.
Trossard 10 mins against 3rd best team in England? Sets up the winning last minute goal.
Mudryk maybe a phenom in a few years but was never going to help us win the title this season.

Hmmm.... I don't know about this tbh. I thought that for someone who was playing his first game in a new league, he did OK. Very direct and you can see he's going to scare the shiiiit out of most if not all the fullbacks in the league.

Do you think we'll need to get to 92 points to win the league?

Harry Kane open to signing new contract at Tottenham. No dialogue since summer 2021 but talks planned for after Jan window. If circumstances right, possible 29yo will now extend past 2024. Striker’s priority is to succeed with #THFC
@TheAthleticFC

Will be hilarious if he end up with absolutely zero trophy at the end of his career.

Way too early to start thinking about I think
We will have a bad patch at some point in the next 10 games I'm sure, if we can get through that and as DJ said get 2 or more points from City, I don't think we will need that much.
Nketiah in the room πΊπ
If we can maintain a gap when City go back into CL it will be interesting to see if Pep does put all his eggs into the CL basket and start resting Haaland and others in the league.
Also, Foden dropped from the match squad for not being match fit is a very strange one...
Expecting Arteta to go pretty much full strength in the FA Cup, maybe bringing in Tomi, Trossard, ESR.
Would prefer him to go with the back ups, but because Everton is over a week later and he will want a statement win over City I can't see him going with 11 changes.

Lol.....this is cope to me for losing out on Mudryk. I'm sure Trossard will be a good signing and did okay when he came in, but you'd expect any League 1 player to do what he did for the goal. Not sure why you're determined to prove (very prematurely) that missing out on Mudryk was somehow a good thing. Any of us would have been really buzzing had we got Mudryk and he's got the potential to have the impact of Hazard. You win some, you lose some.
Martinelli has been below par for a few weeks now (could be fatigue, or just the inconsistency of young players) and hope Trossard makes an immediate impact in that position. The rest/rotation could do Martinelli good.

Spurs have been very lucky with the loyalty of Kane - which is very rare in the modern game. We've not had a player like that for a long time. I remember a player like Ramsey who we stood by at his lowest looking to engineer a move away because we couldn't match his insane wage demands. Despite being mediocre for most of his career. Or RVP leaving us as captain of a club that was devoted to him cos he was desperate for a title. Or Alexis sulking his way through his last season cos he was desperate to leave. Far too many mercenaries who would use and dump us.
Just over a week left of the transfer window. Most of the moaning has disappeared now, but we were linked to a DM from Sociedad who wants to stay despite us meeting his release clause allegedly.
Could still be one more in.

I think the 'urgency of now' is sometimes lost when assessing a transfer window.
You say that a league one player could do what Trossard did and to an extent agree. However with no proper training or team work, to fit in so seamlessly? I don't think so.
And at the moment thats what we need to win the title.
I've seen people concentrate so much on the 'process' that they miss the point of the process.
