Eddie is better in the box but Jesus all round game is far superior. So I suppose you play Jesus in away games or against teams that dominate possession and Eddie in home games or against teams that play counter attack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah, we look so much more fluid going forward with GJ.
Eddie does seem to be able to score more from less chances, but generally since we've lost GJ we've been winning games from moments of magic from Saka, Ode, Eddie etc rather than creating more chances

Compare:
Partey -
https://www.sofascore.com/player/thomas-partey/316148
Avg EPL statistical base performance score - 7.15
Games - 16 Starts - 16
Xhaka -
https://www.sofascore.com/player/granit-xhaka/117777
Avg - 7.04
Games - 19 Starts - 19
Jorginho -
https://www.sofascore.com/player/jorginho/132874
Avg - 7.01
Games - 18 Starts - 15
Considering Chelsea are struggling mid table thats not a bad option to rest Partey.
Jesus regularly rotates with martinelli, so it allows him to get in the box more. You'll notice martins impact has dimmed somewhat with Jesus gone. Although he was excellent Vs Brighton.
Same for Xhaka. His output has largely dried up since jesus got injured.

xG and our possession stats don't really back up that assertion though.

5 games pre World cup - 1 goal 0 assists
5 games post World cup - 0 goal 2 assists.
I think Xhaka is obviously tired. He is being asked to play an intensive role and he ain't used to it.
I really hope Trossard can step into that role going forward and we can try ESR against weaker Europa competition.

Expected goals is a direct correlation to how creative or attacking your side is.

Who has burned the bridges?
Them or us?
Arsenal don't exist to do favours for Brighton. If they don't want money for their players its their prerogative. However the idea they will turn down money in the future from Arsenal is absurd and an idiotic opinion piece.
Arsenal lost Mudryk to Chelsea but that didn't stop both clubs doing business for Jorginho.
Lol its a transfer window ffs. How can a club get upset about another team bidding for their player
Old Bloomy will live to regret his stance.
Bloom should be very happy for Arsenal bids/links. Up till now the only club linked to Caicedo were Chelsea and no one knows what they were actually bidding or whether it was anything more than a manager desperately going back for an ex player cause none in the new dressing room were listening to him.

too funny that
Love how whenever Anthony Stokes gets into trouble he is described as ex-Arsenal star
Played 2 minutes for Arsenal, 191 games for Celtic
The Scottish papers say Celtic the Sun says Arsenal and has a picture of him when he was basically still a child
