Thoughts on the City news?
5 Live reckon they could be facing points deduction, or possible relegation.
My hope is that any sanctions (and I really hope they are sanctioned!) comes next season, not this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
want them relegated.
need an example made.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. But next season.
I want to beat those caaants 'fair' and square this year, and that be the last memory they have of being a Premier League club for a good few seasons.
No. They can appeal to the premier league but only on legal technicalities.
Only one caveat to that... as long as it means we don't have to take Samir Nasri back!

i feel if they know they'll be relegated, the players will be determined to win the league for their fans as a last hurrah

The whole process could last years rather then months or weeks?
If they've been investigating City for four years, and they've only just charged them, you'd have to think the evidence they have is bullet-proof.
City will surely feel they're now merely on borrowed time.

No. Because the UK government is in the process of introducing an independent regulator. So the premier league will want to sort this quickly and on the harsh side to undercut the powers the regulator will have.
United and Palace been charged yet by the FA for failing to control their players?
Which could have been a reformed FA. The same poorly run FA who will be in charge of all the playing side.
Man City must have known this was going to happen for a while, maybe that's why things hasn't been right at Man City recently
I think City's problems are that De Bruyne is 31 and Gundogan is 32. And they are being asked how they play to accommodate a large hulk upfront.
City will be fined. The end.
100+ charges teebs. This is not one they can sweep under the carpet when a white paper is going through parliament to stop this kind of thing.

Rmuours that City may even plead guilty to the independent commission, take a few points deduction this season and then pretend its all done. Cause they don't think they can catch Arsenal anyway.
I am with Lex. Hope they leave the punishments to next season.
