Martinelli is far more dynamic than podolski. Podolski was blowing after every sprint ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same concept though imo. Little inside forward playing against two big CBs with no one close to him, no chance.
Stuck with Nketz, unfortunatly.
I'd probably bring in Trossard though, Martinelli been poor for a while
Trossard will have the same problem as Martinelli with there being no overlapping left back
Wasn't Tossy our best player in the first half of the cup game?

I have never called Tosshard "Drossard" so that is clearly a lie.
So the guy who ballsed up the VAR for Brighton's disallowed goal will be the VAR for our match with City
Reckon that will change after their meeting today.
Will keep an eye on it 🕵️♂️
Every season we win the league there seems to be a lot of drama with the authorities.
89 - Paul Davis smashing the fack out of Cockerills jaw
91 - Adams going to prison, a 2 point deduction for handbags with Norwich and Man Utd
02 - The joke decisions to send off Parlour and van Bronckhurst in successive games with Newcastle and Liverpool, plus the ridiculous call to give a penalty to Newcastle.
04 - The Ruud van Horsefacedcheatingcunt incident and multiple bans.
Hopefully a good sign (although I can't think of anything for 97/98 off hand. Sure there was something).

That was a different formation though.
Theoretically Xhaka is supposed to support Martinelli like Odegaard tries to do for Saka.
Practically I think Xhaka is physically spent and I think Arteta is frightened to make the change with Vieira because of what might happen on counter attacks.

You always find a way to blame Xhaka
Why do you think there is always a motive behind every opinion? Martinelli plays on the left and Xhaka plays in the creative position on the left. Not difficult really.
I gave full praise to Xhaka in the first half of the season and it was his incredible form that we are in this position in the first place. But now he treading water. Its bloody obvious.

Nah, different players, Martinelli stays on the touch line and Trossard comes in more. Arteta should've started with Trossard for Brentford as I just think he needs a rest.

Martinelli, Saliba and White haven't been good lately either
Gwendo 5 points off PSG 🤔
Gwendo hooked off in SHAME at half time.
Saving him for bigger games ✊️
Aye, big games in Ligue 2 when they sell him to Angers.
When's Brendawgs big celeb coach trip back?
