That's said.....Jorginho was alright. I have to say that.

Is Zinchenko any better then Tierney? I don't think so.

Two weak games now Snooky.

Against Villa we need fresh legs. Tierney for me.

Weakest points in the team show up.

(1) Eddie is not good enough atm and has reached his limit.

(2) Gabriel improvement this season has come to a shuddering halt. He gets found out against the best. Saliba had Halaand in his pocket in the first half and in the second Pep told him to stand on Gabriel. Disaster defending for both goals.

(3) Arteta has got to stop tinkering. There was no reason to bring in a cold Tomiyasu if Ben White was not injured. It was critical mistake.

(4) Xhaka had a decent game but against the best he can't finish/final ball that the position requires, De Bruyne would have buried the chance he had.

Zinchenko plays in CM a lot. Does Tierney?

Hindsight is a very easy way to criticise everything. I would also change Tomi in as White looked a bit clueless the last games.

For Villa we need to make changes even more. Tierney for Ziny, Martinelli out, start Trossard.

That exactly his problem atm. We need a CB who supporting his mate ahead of him that is Martinelli.

Its not hindsight gt. Its common sense. Tomi hardly plays. Do you expect him to perform at the very top level, and no one is better than City, possibly in the world, straight away? He might not be good enough even if was playing every day. But to come in without any match sharpness is ridiculous. The mistakes were very predictable.

Did White commit any errors against Brentford or Everton?

Only one situation in the second half that destroyed our way of play. City gone for the old tricks and we fall in their trap.

Then who covers behind Xhaka in his new forward role?

Agree GT.
Though include Xhaka in that, he needs a rest.

Jorgy was decent enough, tidy but doesn't have the presence Partey does. I think we don't concede a couple of those goals if Partey is playing. Would try Jorg/Partey against Villa if he's fit

To be honest. I never saw a mistake from Tomi like that last night. He wasnt alone on that side. All of our goals were gifts. As Arteta rightly said between the lines we did everything to win City the game.

Xhaka had an okay game yesterday.

At least our complaining about refs/VAR finally getting us some slack. Thought we very lucky to get a pen (arguably it is a pen, but they are almost never given), fairly lucky to get City's pen overturned (didn't look a clear error).

Nah, he was shiiite, but many were. Not sure any but Jorg, Ramsdale and Saka were better than a 5

If not for offside ref would have given a pen.

Disagree then.

Jorghinho and Xhaka were alright for most of the game. Not flawless though but alright.

Who should replace Xhaka? Dont expect Partey back for the Villa game.

The goals were gifts. Which means singular mistakes. Tomi and gabriel.

Sorry, but just before grealish's goal, Xhaka overhit an easy pass that could've put somebody through. Fecked up another situation later by dilly dallying.

Guy was great before the world cup, but he needs resting now.

Halaand was offside. It was clear even in the stadium tbh.

No in my view. Can't change our CB's because of one bad game.
