2nd best attack, 6th best defence - I know which area I would improve - our money should be going on Rice/Caicedo/similar, improving on Xhaka and defensive reinforcements

Exactly this. Some of the takes I've seen from our own fans on social media have been pathetic.

All media outlets saying we're gonna go massive this summer.

Arsenal almost have to spend.

90% ffp this season to go down to 70%.

Wage budget is low because we are a young squad.

Qualified for CL.

So our budget is not going to get better going forward.

Fact is also that we conceded too many goals in the last few months. Strikers win you games but a defense wins you titels. We have to invest in our defense as well depending who will leaave of course.

That maybe true in American football, but in football those things are not mutually exclusive.

There midfield is still awful though. I expect them to address the issue in the summer.
