Partey's contract runs out in 2025. We don't know whether the police even consider the accusations made against him actionable. So in my book you are innocent until proven guilty.

And the reason we are going to finish second is a lot to do with how well he has played most of the season. So no, I am not that bothered if we don't sign another holding player.

I think we need a player who is capable of scoring/assisting on similar levels to Odegaard to balance him on the left side box to box.

Rice alone wont be enough.

Xhaka has had a far better season than Partey and is just as responsible, if not more so, for our position in the table. Actually Partey is more responsible because of his dogshiiit performances over the last 2 months that have contributed to us falling down the table

Rice is the ideal Xhaka replacement though. Caicedo is an obvious upgrade on Partey

Rice scoring 10 goals a season.....I can't wait.

Hope it will be more than this should he really join Arsenal.

GT already being negative on the possible Xhaka replacement.

Imagine my shock.

Rice would be perfect for us, wanted him since last season. He is a physical player, a ball carrier, decent passing range, makes runs into the box, can score from distance, his fitness record is pretty much impeccable too, averaged 35 PL games a season over the last 5 seasons

I am not against it but I want to see two new signings alone for him who can fight for his place. Otherwise it makes no sense for me.

Rice has also played mostly as the more defensive of the 3 in West Hams midfield, so 4 goals and 2 assists is decent.

People seem to have short memory when it comes to Xhaka. This season is an one off
