I believe there is a fundamental misunderstanding in the media of how we play. Arteta and Pep were both midfield players. I think they believe all games are won and lost because of the midfield, so want all players capable of playing in midfield and their own position. We invert from left only because it was easy buying a player from City who already knew how to do that. Arteta wants both full backs to invert and at least one Centre back to be able to come into midfield. I remember Marquez, Puyol, Maxwell, Dani Alves etc. were all comfortable in midfield. It goes back to Cruyff's belief in total football.

wow, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, we remember what JET was like at that age and when he got older he wasn't that good
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not seen Obi play but could tell JET was relying way too much on his physical attributes rather than his IQ
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He seems intelligent but still hard to tell, England better get on him just in case as he seems to prefer Denmark at the moment
Talking about full backs, what do people think of Rosiak? He usually inverts from the right, anyone think he will make it?
Van de Ven 😂😂😂
Offside?
Gives Villa a reason to down tools tomorrow if it stays this way.
Hahaha VdV you caaaant 😂😂😂
The commentators thought VdV is world class.
Yeah, spent ages bigging him up. Tbf he has looked like a goat today, the amount of grass he has eaten.
Hope Spurs play this open against us.

It won't matter if they lose. So can hide behind the tiredness excuse. Give players an easy out and they take it imo

When was the last time we played Villa at home on Sunday 4:30pm? Was it when Cesc Fabregas came of the bench scored 2 & went off injured again?
One of the all time great substitute performances.

So the same as before this weekend. If Spurs win this game and Villa lose tomorrow makes it much more difficult for them.

A bit too early for the 'hope' stuff because Villa know Spurs have to play City, Liverpool and Arsenal. They don't want Spurs to build a gap so that those games don't matter to them.
I heard a Spurs fan say that they want Villa to win against us as they would rather Spurs get 5th than us winning the PL, because Levy won't spend the CL money anyway on players and they won't do anything in CL.
