That would be the perfect scenario. Historically we’ve battered Everton at home, a GD advantage of 3 is crazy high. If any Arsenal team can, it’s this one.

Would also be somewhat spursy for them to lose tonight but arsenal somehow still win the league 🫡

If spurs draw tonight I don't think I can handle the drama of the final day. We only have a 3+ advantage in goal difference. West ham will have checked out, Everton are solid defensively regardless.

Everton have checked out more than West Ham. At least West Ham players are going to do their best for the new man watching in the stands.

Lets face it if we somehow win the title we will call Spurs Spurys whatever they do.

Anyone watching the game tonight? I am considering missing it to avoid anxiety.

Going to be a waste of time after 10 mins but of course.

4 wins and a draw in last 5...

4 clean sheets and only 1 conceded in that time too.

Yeah watching it for sure. Tbh fully expect City to run riot against a demotivated Spurs side but in football you never know.

posted on 14/5/24

Why would Spurs players be demotivated?

I don't fear Everton tbh. I doubt City fear West Ham. I think it's all about tonight.

Every chance, if City did draw tonight, they would put 6 or 7 past West Ham. Every chance we could struggle to score.
It isn't fearing Everton - it is knowing we haven't got the clinical players when the pressure is truly on and every chance Sunday could be the most frustrating game ever.

Why are we worried about a situation we’d love to find ourselves in on Sunday? Puts the situation back in our control and leave the rest to the players. If they deserve to win the title, they’ll sort out what needs to be done.

Maybe that would be true with the old Arsenal. I don't believe that with this team. I really do believe we will win the title if City drop points.

This is still the same team who missed chance after chance in a 2-0 defeat to West Ham, lost without scoring against Newcastle, Villa twice, Porto, Bayern.

posted on 14/5/24

And it is also the same team that has gone toe to toe with City, arguably, with far more difficult fixtures. Chelsea, Spurs away, Utd away and very inform Bournemouth at the time.

I think all the games we didn't score in this season, Jesus started them all not starting him will be a good start, but I don't trust arteta to not do something stupid for the final day

And Rice started at for almost all of them at DM. I think he is a bigger culprit.

3 goal head start and just need to score more than City? I'd back us.

Until Havertz steps out in midfield anyway, then we'll lose 2-0
