I wish he had where I reminded him that Havertz and Jesus play in the same areas and you need to replace Jesus with a proper no.9 like Gyokeres if you want Havertz in midfield to work.

Arteta overthought like Pep often does. He expected Villa to put 10 men behind the ball and they did. But he didn't expect Douglas Luiz to out duel Rice so we never got the requiste amount of ball in the final third to make Havertz the strategy work. It never does any way because Havertz/Jesus both occupy the same areas.
