My last Emirates visit was October 2021. Went to Palace on the Monday and Villa on the Friday. Was awful journey home so never went back.

We will lose if we play like that against City. Can’t go there expecting to keep another clean sheet especially with Haaland’s current form. We have to improve on the ball, can’t just rely on 1 or 2 counters and a few set pieces.

Rice will make a big difference.

We have always struggled v City with keeping the ball, especially at the Etihad.

We will park the bus and hope to try keep haaland and Co out.

I really dont fear Haaland. We keep him out of the game. But our midfield is so poor if we have to turn up with Jorghi and Partey together.

We don’t have to keep the ball, we just need to use it better when we have it. Partey, Jorgi, Trossard, Timber, Marti were all guilty of giving the ball away needlessly or making wrong decisions on the ball.

You can’t just go and park the bus at City, their defence can definitely be got at if we just use the ball better

We parked the bus last season and came away with a point.

We will play exactly the same game

We got the point last season but different circumstances, City could not afford to lose and weren’t overly offensive themselves. They will be going all out for the win this weekend. Obviously we have to be cautious and will defender deep but we have to be better with our passing and decision making or they will 100% punish us.

If White or Trossard make those mistakes vs Halaand instead of Solanke/Johnson it’s game over

We didn't do enough in the transfer window to expect to suddenly beat city away.

Yeah I think we're capable of getting a win but to expect it is just copium. Brentford gave a little hope and with how hard we are to score against we'll always have a chance, but our circumstances going into the game are much less favourable.
