Thats not the point. People could have selected Rice or Pickford or Bellingham or Saka. Because they played.

To select a player who was mainly a sub is a joke. I bet the vote was taken after he scored 4 in the premier league. I doubt he would have won after the Forest game.

Add to that noone else stood out, Saka only scored one goal, Kane wasn't his best and Bellingham plays in Spain so is less
