Very different story you were telling all summer btw, when you said PSR wasnt an issue and we could spend what we want 😂😂😂😂

Nelson out, Sterling in. Like for like.
Total non cashflow expenses for 2023 were actually £174.1m (amortisation 139, player impairment 18m, depreciation 17m), expected to rise in 2024 when accounts come out.
Arsenal can add wages but not be extravagant on fees. That's obvious if they want to stay within PSR.

Its funny you spent all summer arguing the opposite 😂😂😂

Arsenal can spend as long as they structure the deal that way. I just don't think Newcastle will be very accommodating or Arsenal will want to on a single £100m player. They did enquire for Guimares and backed off.

Is J99 on the ropes here? 🤔

In what way?

Why do you think they wanted to sell Nelson/ESR/Eddie?
---------
Arsenal are challenging City quicker than they expected. They can't wait for development anymore.

And that ties in perfectly with the type of players they should be targeting. Higher wage but lower fees. So players with contract exits. Arsenal aren't in ffp problems, unlike a lot of other clubs, and can afford to pay better.

Who knows how long before 'transfer fees' disappear altogether with FIFA antitrust decision? I think fees will be even lower in 2025 than 2024.

No saka, Timber and calafiori in training

Late fitness tests means we'll know tomorrow. You don't know if they are training away from the cameras.
They really need to risk Saka.
posted 1 hour, 26 minutes ago
Have to risk Timber also
Can have a back 4 of Partey-white - Gabriel - kiwior

We have no outball/creativity without Saka. I am ok with Partey at right back. Rather, it helps to control mf especially because I expect Liverpool to sit back.

Can't remember the last time we went into a big game without Saliba, Odegaard and Saka

I believe Saka has only missed one game through injury in the last 4 years or something. He is so important to attacking schemes.
