Lol no he did not. Henry was in a ridiculously good team, far better than the cloggers Shearer played with

my top 5 is: Shearer, Henry, Aguero, Rooney and Drogba.

Henry carried a pretty average arsenal team to 4th and a CL final. That team was probably about as good as some of the better Newcastle teams shearer was part of.

Always though Aguero and Drogba were a bit overrated, admiteddly they were big game players particuarly Drogba, but as strikers not in Henry's class.

Rooney was up there for a few seasons, unplayable at times.

Henry didn't carry anything, Fabregas and the defence was a huge part of that CL run. Don't even remember Henry being that good in it apart from the goal vs Madrid

Which seems about right to me

Even in the CL? Was almost 20 years ago now so not surprised I cant remember

I remember THAT goal vs Madrid, one of my favourite Arsenal goals ever.

Apart from that cant remember much, just that somehow that defence led by my man Senderos was superb, Fabregas dominating Juve, Pires slide tackle on Vieira lol, being dominated by Riquelme and....Senna? vs Villareal and of course the final which Henry missed good chances in.

And THAT miss in the CL final

Couple of fairly easy chances though wasnt there?

But the red card killed us in the final tbf, not the misses

Don't think Barca would have come back from 2-0.

Depends how you class forwards. Salah and Ronaldo (back then) are not forwards to me. Ronaldo also had one good goalscoring season at Utd
