Absolute mare, Serial.
Back to his old non-proactive self.
..though it did seem he lifted the team at HT.
I like to think it was a one-off, Lex. Generally this season, Wenger has been tactically spot on.
Just feel he lost a bit of bottle last night. Too defensive.
Would:
Flamini/Arteta Cazorla
Gnabry Ozil Podolski
have left us too lightweight in the middle last night? We'd have surely been more mobile than we were.
Probably but Flamini can do the dirty working side a more technical player such as Santi. Santi should be in the middle all his goals so far have come from there and he has the ability to set the tempo.
Well, at least Santi is getting back to his old form which is goo to see
Is this guy reliable?

Re: Draxler
My understanding: Fee agreed - NOT done.
Replying to so many end up writing wrong 1 time. Sorry!!
I can see why he put Monreal instead of Gibbs though but Gnabry was obviously the wrong decision. The young lad had a mare especially defensively.
I think too Wenger's subs yesterday were not the best.
Look at the other boards they think we're out of the title race despite sitting at top and now all of a sudden are competing for 4th spot
Just feel he lost a bit of bottle last night. Too defensive.
Disagree. We werent too defensive imo but Soton's knew how to deal with our midfield. They were better in this area and that was the key. They have found us out.

Fiorentina's Italy striker Giuseppe Rossi should be fit for this summer's World Cup after being told he does not need surgery on a knee injury.
The Serie A top scorer, 26, injured his right knee against Livorno earlier this month. The ex-Manchester United player has previously had two operations to reconstruct cruciate ligaments in the same knee.
I think apart from yesterday Monreal did well for us
Not knocking him GT, Just feel Gibbs is the better option.
Disagree but so let it be.

Blackpool winger Thomas Ince is expected to hold talks with Hull and Sunderland on Wednesday as he prepares to make a decision on his future.
The England U21 international has been given permission by Blackpool to discuss a loan move with Premier League clubs.
He met Swansea and Crystal Palace on Monday and held talks with Stoke on Tuesday. The 21-year-old will speak to Hull manager Steve Bruce before holding talks with Sunderland. Ince is expected to make a decision on his future in the next 48 hours.
Hull, Sunderland, Swansea, Palace and Stoke...
Not being funny, J99, but given the level of the clubs that have shown an interested in him, is he REALLY the type of player you think Arsenal should be looking at?

That chance he had

There's an update on Julian Draxler and @Gunnerblog reflects on #SFCvAFC... all in today's Media Watch: http://po.st/abHwtz
Wtf? Is that Arsenal.com giving 'an update' on Draxler, or Gunnerblog? Looks like it's the Arsenal site that have Tweeted that.
HOW DOES TWITTER WORK?!!!
It's just media watch Lex
Forget it. It's just a link to the DS article.
Ffs, Arsenal.com
How can Arsenal Tweet 'an update on Julian Draxler' then link to a tabloid?!
So f/cking cheap. How does that classify as an update?

I am looking at 3 things lex.
a) Immediate impact.
b) Cheap (wages and fee). I don't want Ince as the primary. I originally suggested him as a backup to Theo. I have feared for more than year we have absolutely no one in Theo's style, and if we lost him we would be in deep trouble. My fears have come true on that. I want him to backup Draxler/Theo.
c) Willing to sit on the bench.
I much prefer an English sub willing to put his heart into the game. Like Parlour used to. The job Milner is doing for City. Not a fool who jogs abt on the pitch.
