Yeah there are some brilliant strikers underway who can dribble the hell of the defender. But do we need that at the moment. We need OG's contribution that it determination, high workrate, intelligence and sometimes with brilliant ideas.

Why would I replace him? Not for Reus', Lewandowski, not for Aguero or Suarez.

Ibra is 32 now. Has he got one last 'big' move in him, will he stay at PSG for a couple more season and then go back to Sweden, or move somewhere like the MLS sooner than that?

Stay at PSG for next season, and then get a last big money move after that.

Wow. He scores too many off these wonder goals. French League is too good for him.

Apparently, (well according to Philipe Auclair) Ibra's contract costs PSG something like €50m per season.

posted on 5/2/14

Incredible. Surprised PSG kept hold off him despite that 75% tax rate.

posted on 5/2/14

France's 75% tax is a disgrace.

Fair enough if it was on salaries over, say, 30m euro's or something ridiculous, but on salaries over 1m euro's is horrific.

posted on 5/2/14

Have the french authorities made a ruling on Monaco's tax status yet? Thought they were initially exempt from the 75% rate.

We know, because of the nature of people and the game itself, that divisions exist amongst Arsenal fans. If you can’t be categorised by one shitbox acronym, you must the other shitbox acronym. Winning is never quite proof enough of our quality; losing is a sign of the impending apocalypse; reasonable, analytical criticism is taken as blasphemy; words are twisted, and misrepresented, just because people want to fight about something.
