Couple of interesting quotes from Wenger about whether he'll stay or not and the choice of his successor.

“So will I definitely stay? Yes …unless I decide otherwise. I’m not going anywhere, don’t worry about that, but I want to have a feeling coming out of the season that I have done the maximum for the club."

So looks like it's win the FA Cup or he's off then. Even the most season hardened WOB wouldn't want to see a failure in the Cup though, right?

"No.. I always said, and you can check that, everybody has his job. My job is to do well for the team, not to do anything else.”

Whoever does eventually replace him, (whenever that may be) Wenger is adamant he will have no imput into the matter.

I think he's just confirming what most of us suspected anyway, TBOK. Whether he stays or not depends on whether we win the FA Cup. Which is fair enough I guess, but makes any forward planning more difficult for the club regards potential transfer targets not to mention giving the board less time to secure a replacement for Wenger should he decide to walk if the team bottle it.

Had a feeling he will step down. If he feels he's not succeeded this season then taw he will step down. I think this means of he doesn't win FA cup. Can bet you that WOB will want us to fail now and not get CL either for caution.

I'm pretty sure Wenger will stay almost regardless of what happens up until the end of the season.

Only way he'd leave is if we finished outside the top 4. Even the most hardened AKB's wouldn't be able to defend that.
