Not saying I'm happy with the situation btw, but I'll take any silver lining I can from it
I agree, Tu. I already said, as bad as Cesc going to Chelsea is, and possibly will be, having him reject a move back to Arsenal in favour of them would've been horrific.
As it is, it's just... well, a bit sh/t really.

Fred Higuain... how brilliant would that be if that was his name?!
"I'm not convinced that [Fabregas] won't come back here one day. He is really an Arsenal man. He loves Arsenal and watches every game of Arsenal. But of course Barcelona was his home town where he grew up and you have to accept that will come into it, especially with them having the best team in the world. [Fábregas would not come back] in the next two, three years, certainly not, because he is linked with Barcelona. But maybe later.
"Fábregas is an exception that I would try again, a world-class player you don't easily find."
-Arsene Wenger, 2013.
Di Maria and Benzema for £50m.
No chance will we get either
If we did, I could forgive Wenger for not taking back Cesc but we need a world class CDM as well
We still have Flamini. And Wenger can pick up a cheap gem from the lower leagues.
Di Maria, Benzema and Ozil is the basis for the goal scoring record in Spain.
Both are available so that Madrid can buy Suarez.
So they are going to keep Morata instead?
If Wenger wants Di Maria and/or Benzema, then he should go and do what all the other big clubs do and BID for them, rather than wait to see what Real do or don't do this summer.
Bad enough putting all your eggs in one basket, but putting all your eggs in someone else's basket..?!

I doubt Liverpool will do a Daniel Levy and block the transfer of Suarez, if it is to happen, until the last moment so as to stop us getting Di Maria or Benzema.
We should be proactive for once and start the fackin cycle. Just get Di Maria first then i'll start considering no touching myself to death.
But you just know.....we will do a suspiciously small amount of transfer dealings until after the CL qualifiers
That will be the end.
Yep, we'll probably get a new RB and back up GK then that will be it 'til we've qualified, (or not) for the CL then Wenger will do his usual mad last minute dash round looking at whatever is left, whilst bemoaning a stagnant, valueless market and we'll sign a striker and get a loan wide man.
WOBs will say we don't have enough to compete and nothing will change 'til Wenger leaves the club, AKBs will say the he's been sensible and done what was necessary and to wait 'til the season is finished before judging him.
The rest of us will try to remember the point we decided to follow Arsenal and whether it's too late to go back in time and punch our younger selves hard in the face...
I'll probably o/d regardless

We should bid for Peter to be put in a bin.
Relax, the transfer window isn't open yet. Wenger's got this
