Vela is nothing like Walcott. I think Vela has actually got slower as he has matured and he was never able to dribble past anyone when he was younger. Thats why Wenger got rid in the first place.

Italy playmaker Andrea Pirlo signs a new two-year deal with Juventus - not bad for a 35-year-old.

Since leaving AC Milan in 2011, the midfielder has inspired Juventus to three successive Serie A titles, scoring six goals last season for the club.

Pirlo will now be concentrating on Italy's World Cup opener against England on Saturday.

Blood/y hope not. As I suggested he is slower than he used to be and he was always pushed over easily in England. I dunno how will cope as a central striker.

I think Vela is purely a financial signing and Wenger may flog him quickly. But if he is going to remain a gunner for a season I don't see him anything more than a backup.

But imo Wenger is deluded if he thinks that Giroud, Snaogo and Vela are even going to qualify for us for CL next season with a Man Utd under Van Gaal, Mourinho with his players and Pellegrini confident, if Liverpool keep Suarez.
